FARM AND PET ANIMALS

*.- GENERAL INTRODUCTION:

This didactic unit has been designed to use it in the third grade of primary education. It is part of science syllabus and it is entitle FARM AND PET ANIMALS. I have chosen these learning objectives:

      - To classify animals in farm and pet animals.

      - To describe animal body parts.

      - To describe an animal.

My pupils are going to work with contents:

      -  Farm and pet animals classification

      -  Animal body parts.

      -  Describe an animal.

These specific basic competences  will be practiced in this Unit:

-       Linguistic.

-       Digital

-       Learn to learn.

-       Autonomy

-       Interaction with physical world Social.

Also, my pupils are going to face with different vocabulary, structures, languague skills and type of discourse:

This unit involves input and ouput language skills, and includes a wide variety of activities like: songs, games, interactive tasks, videos, etc.

SESSION 2: My pupils will work with the knowledge learning in the last session and learn the name of the sounds of  farm animals. This session is very amusing for them because of they have to imitate their sounds. We will sing an amazing song. Old Macdonald had a farm.

SESSION 4:  Final project. They will work with the knowledge learning in this unit and using a wonderful tool they will make a final poster divided in three parts.

FINAL PROJECT: TRABAJO PARA PROFUNDIZAR E INVESTIGAR. EL RESULTADO SERÁ UNA PRODUCCIÓN DE UN POSTER . THEY WILL WORK IN PAIRS AND THEY WILL DESIGN THREE POSTERS WITH GLOGSTER  EDU:

-          FARM AND PET ANIMALS CLASSIFICATION (DIVIDED IN TWO PARTS, ONE FARM ANIMALS, TWO PET ANIMALS WITH THEIR NAMES)      

-          ANIMAL BODY PARTS.

Glogster Edu:  Gologster EDU is a web 2.0 tool for educators and students to create online

PLANIFICACIÓN UNIDAD AICLE. FARM AND PET ANIMALS

Farm and pet animals from Tony Ala

UNIDAD AICLE. OBJETIVOS DE LOS RECURSOS USADOS Y MATERIALES DISEÑADOS.

Los objetivos con los que he usado los recursos son:

1.- Los recursos que he usado tienen el fin de construir, en mi alumnado, su propio conocimiento como elemento fundamental para dar solución a un problema planteado o una tarea o proyecto encomendado por mi o por cualquier maestr@ (Scaffolding /andamiaje). Con este tipo de recursos o actividades pretendo que mi alumnado vaya tomando control de la situación poco a poco hasta que consigan realizar una tarea por ellos mismos. Mis recursos están basados en los objetivos y en los contenidos tanto de la materia como la lengua que se precisa.
2.- Con este tipo de recursos educativos pretendo que mis alumn@s aprendan de forma interactiva, tanto en parejas como en grupos.
3.- De igual manera, con estos recursos, busco en mis alumn@s un aprendizaje Autónomo, pero guiado en todo momento.
4.- Pienso que en la variedad está el aprendizaje y por ello, el uso de múltiples recursos y materiales especialmente las TIC aportará a mi alumnado un contexto más rico y variado, el cuál repercutirá en su propio aprendizaje.

 Con lo que respecta a los materiales una vez revisados y utilizados todos los materiales que este curso me aporta, he decidido utilizar los siguientes y adaptarlos a mi unidad Aicle:

 Educaplay: Herramienta muy intuitiva. Con ella se pueden crear crucigramas, sopa de letras con el vocabulario utilizado en la unidad y conseguir que el alumnado domine la destreza del writing and speaking. De igual manera no sólo es online, también se pueden imprimir. Este material lo he utilizado para el repaso de vocabulario.

Goer: Herramienta muy útil para subir las canciones más útiles. Es una herramienta muy intuitiva y sencilla y la calidad es muy buena. He utilizado este recurso para repasar el contenido de la unidad.

Quizlet: De las mejores herramientas que he descubierto. Con ella se pueden crear flashcards. Las fotos te las facilita el programa. Una vez creada, de forma muy sencilla, el programa te añade la pronunciación del vocabulario utilizado y una vez confeccionadas todas las flashcards el programa te crea distintos juegos online para que el alumnado practica e interiorice las destrezas de listening, speaking, reading and writing. Este programa me permite practicar y ampliar el vocabulario de mi alumnado.

Slideshare: Herramienta de muchísima utilidad que te facilita el trabajo. Todo tipo de worksheet y documentación en soporte escrita puede ser subida a este programa el cuál te facilita una url que puedes incluir en tu blog. Es de manejo muy sencillo y muy útil para los documentos en soporte papel. Este sofware me da la oportunidad de trabajar con mi alumnado la comprensión y el análisis.

Glogster Edu: Herramienta para la creación de poster en soporte digital. Tiene la virtud de poder añadir documentos escritos, material fotográfico, material sonoro (listening) y material en formato video (listening, reading). Gracias a este programa puedo profundizar, con mi alumnado, e investigar en lo aprendido en esta unidad Aicle. El resultado será una producción propia del alumnado (un poster).

ASPECTOS METODOLÓGICOS AICLE.

Elementos a destacar:

- Enseñanza centrada en el alumando: Ambas partes docente y discente trabajan en común para llevar a cabo una tarea.

- Partir de lo particular a lo general.

- Atención a los distintos ritmos de aprendizaje. Todo el alumnado tiene cabida.

- Aprendizaje autónomo y en relación con los miembros que formen su grupo de trabajo o pareja (andamiaje).

- Uso de las tic y todos aquellos medios que faciliten el aprendizaje

- Promover el aprendizaje de contenidos y lenguaje a la vez.

Mi webmix de symbaloo

En este webmix podemos ver 10 enlaces muy interesantes para trabajar las asignaturas de Science and English. En ellas he pretendido aglutinar enlaces de interés, videos, juegos, actividades, y herramientas interesantes online. Con ellas tengo previsto que mi alumnado disfrute a la vez que aprenda tanto el idioma (inglés) como contenidos de interés para ellos/as

APRENDIZAJE VISIBLE Y AICLE.

De todo lo aportada en este documento de aprendizaje visible y aicle, destaco:

- Feedback: Un buen ambiente (clima socio-emocional).

- Reto: Objetivos apropiados. Aquí el error es bienvenido. La realidad de la clase es fundamental para partir al igual que la idea de superación (challenging goals).

- Confianza en si mismos y conocimiento de sus posibilidades.

- Autoevaluación (metodología apropiada).

- Reciclaje formativo.
